#2

This man...
-Helps me with my homework, and doesn't get mad when I don't understand after he's explained it me to 10 times.
-Is my #1 fan, coming to all of my volleyball games and tournaments, even when they were far away.
-Is the best example of serving others
-Balances his job, being a bishop, dad, and husband and still has time to make pancakes every saturday morning
-Asks how my day was, and actually wants to know and listens to every boring detail of my day
-Likes my friends and remembers everyone he meets
-Is ridiculously smart
-Taught me what it means to be a hard worker

Thanks Daddy for everything!!

30 Day Challenge

My little sissy Emily started this 30 day challenge. I've always thought about doing one but have never gotten around to it, so I decided to join her :) The challenge is to blog everyday for 30 days about someone who has made an impact on my life. It only seemed appropriate to start it off with...drumroll please........EMILY!!

Where to start? Well I guess the beginning! When we were little, I'll admit, I was terrified of her. Even though she was almost two years younger than me, she had no problem bullying me around and beating up on me. She could be the sweetest girl one moment and the next second have a complete transformation into a little terror. Let me just say she kept things interesting at our house. Even though I might have been scared of her, we loved to play together. We spent hours and hours playing barbies, polly pockets, and dress up. She still has the best imagination :)

Now that we're older, I'm no longer am pushed around by her. In fact, I'd almost say its the other way around now! Over the past few years we have even grown closer to each other with our other sisters out of the house. I could spend hours talking with her about the newest boy or friend drama (mostly on her side since my life is pretty dull). I tell her everything and she listens. Best of all, she can keep a secret.

She musically talented, participating in the school choirs and musicals. I'm jealous of her natural dark complexion (seriously tan year round) and cute dimples. She's gets my weird sense of humor and shares many inside jokes with me. She is bursting with personality and energy. I love who she is and wouldn't change a thing about her.

Showers #3 and 4

As Amy and Garrett's wedding gets closer, things are getting crazier. Just yesterday Amy had two bridal showers and has another one coming next Saturday. One was a joint shower thrown by Garrett's family for Amy and Garrett's cousin Heidi. The second one was thrown by all of Amy's high school friends. Luckily they let me tag along just like I did when they were in highs school! They were both really fun and she got some pretty amazing gifts. She's a spoiled bride :) Here's some pictures from the showers.

Wow...I'm productive

My daily routine:

Come home from school
Sit on the red chair, right in front of the heat lamp
Take a nice long nap.
Think about doing my homework
Procrastinate homework with various activities (facebook, blog stalking, eating, talking to my mother)
Eat dinner
Think about homework again
Procrastinate some more (read, talk wedding with sister or mom, listen to music, bug my brother)
Eat some ice cream
Start homework
Bed

Yep....I should work on my productivity.

Pleasant Surprise

Today was just one of those all around good days. I got a nice fresh start with the beginning of new semester. I have classes with my friends, a fun new seminary teacher, and I finally have a class taught by my favorite teacher! I'm also wearing my new cardigan that's my favorite color. Then to top everything off, I got called down to the office only to be given 20 dollars! A few months ago I found it in the locker room and took it to the office. They informed me that if no one claimed it in 10 days it would be mine. Well 10 days came and went and I completely forgot about it. Apparently so did the office lady, and when she found it two months later it was mine! It certainly made my day a little brighter.

Temple Trip

Today some of the girls and I took a little trip down to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple and had a fantastic time. Afterwards we went out for lunch and appalled the waiter at how much 5 girls could eat. It was nice to be with my friends and have a stress free relaxing day. We meet some pretty fun people and ate a delicious dessert. It was a nice way to end the long weekend :)

2010

2010 was a great year. It was the year I started my blog. I passed 2 AP tests that stressed me out like none other. I got hit by a car...ouch. I finished my junior year and started my senior one. I applied to college. I jumped out of an airplane on purpose. I went to Vegas, North Dakota, Coyote Gulch, Girls Camp (my last one), and Youth Conference. I went to many fun dances. I made new friends and stayed close to my old ones. I hurt my back, but healed up quite nice. I had a great club ball season and a fantastic school volleyball season, taking 6th in state. I became an adult, but still act like a child.

Its gonna be a tough year to top.

But I already have some pretty great things to look forward to. Like my sisters wedding. And graduation. I'm moving out and going to big kid school. I get to see many friends go on missions. And then there's the cruise to Mexico.

Its lookin like it'll be a pretty amazing year!

STOMP!!!

Last night we had a stomp at the school. A stomp is a dance where there are no dates and no slow songs. Pretty much everyone just dresses up crazy and dances as weird as the outfits they are wearing. We haven't had one since my sophomore year, so we went all out for this one. I got together with my friends Laura and Kiana to get ready and headed to the dance floor. I danced all night and had sooo much fun!!! It was an awesome night :)

Drumroll please.....

I've had a hard time deciding what I was going to do after graduation. I knew I was going to college but the question was where. Well ladies and gentlemen, I've made my decision........BYU is getting another Regis!!!! I feel really good about this decision and can't wait to be a cougar!!!!

Bad Blogger

So I've kinda been neglecting my poor blog lately. I've been just having too much fun to actually write about it. To make all the long stories and fun this short I'll quickly sum up my last month.

Christmas was of course amazing and magical. Although our trip to the cabin didn't work out, it was just fun hanging out with family and relaxing. We played games for hours on end, watched some pretty great movie (Tangled is a must see!), ate to our hearts content, and enjoyed Christmas activities. During the rest of the break I took a campus tour of BYU, had a New Year's Eve sleepover with my best friends, and did absolutely NO homework! It was a great and much needed break and I loved every second of it :)
