wow. I have been so busy lately with Amy's wedding coming....TOMORROW!!!! aaahhh!!! I can't even believe it's happening! I'm super excited for them and can't wait for Garrett to officially become part of our family.
I meant to blog yesterday, really, but I just never found a time. I had it all planned out and everything. #18 is my cousin Wade. I wanted to do it on the 16th because in exactly one month from then (March 16), Wade goes into the MTC for his mission to Everett, WA! He's going to be a great missionary. He's easy going and just comfortable to be with. He's the cousin closest to my age and we've been friends ever since we were little. I love hanging out with him and would rather just watch a movie or play a board game with him than go out with my friends. I already know I'm going to miss him so much when he leaves but I couldn't be more thrilled that he is going!
My #19 and #20 (I'm getting a day ahead because I know I'm not going to have time tomorrow) is Amy and Garrett! They are awesome and totally belong with each other. Amy and I have been best friends since birth, well my birth. We don't always get along perfectly as most sisters but we do love each other and understand each other. In high school I loved that she let me hang out with her and her friends. We have had some pretty great times and I love how crazy she can be. Garrett on the other hand is not so wild. He's got a sense of humor that fits right in with our family. When we met him he just had a familiarity about him where I knew he would be family. I love that he knows my music and he has pretty good taste minus that screamy stuff like Chivelle and Thrice, yuck. I'm so excited for them, I can't even describe it!!!!!
I'll blog ASAP with wedding details and pictures! Also tomorrow = 1 year of blogging!!! YAY :)

#17
Well before I continue I must clear some things up. I had my dad a bit worried when I wrote about the boys basketball team. This list of people is not necessarily the 30 most influential people in my life. They are people I admire, look up to, and love. They are the people who make me smile and make me want to be better. It would take way too much brain power to pick the top 30 influential people in my life; there are so many! Also do not be offended if I don't write about you! I love you all, really I do, but I can't possibly write about every great person out there.
My #17 is going to have to be Brianna. She is wonderful! She is cute, happy, and giggly. We are going to be roomies next year down at BYU (that is if I'm accepted!!! Hurry up letters) and I couldn't be more excited! She's an amazing dancer and is so graceful :) Definitely a little jealous of that because I'm cursed with the "Dilley Grace". I love being around her because of the smiles she brings. I'm honestly so excited for next year and can't wait to room with her! I know we'll have a blast just because we'll be together!

My grandma never fails to bring all her grandkids some creative valentine's day gift. This year we got delicious watermelon cut into little heart shapes! I love how thoughtful she is! There are not words to describe her generosity and compassion. She is strong willed and hard working. She did an amazing job of raising all four of her kids as a single working mom. She's always up for a good trip to the cabin and is fiercely competitive when we play board games. Her love and devotion for BYU is unbelievable. I love her!

My Stake President is awesome. Really, really awesome. He's big guy in stature (about 6'5" and hands the size of plates) and personality. He is also the best story teller ever! Today he spoke in our ward's conference and I wish he would have kept going for hours. I could listen to him all day talk about socks or Q-tips or really anything and it would be absolutely captivating. He's a spiritual giant and makes me want to be better just by being around him. The thing I love most about him is the way you can tell he loves every single person in our stake individually, especially the youth. He says hi to me by name whenever I see him and gives me a big smile and handshake. I also have to give him the "Funnest President Award". He's huge on pranks and this year he even brought a fire truck to our youth conferences water fight!! They don't come better than him :)

NANNY-POO! I love my cousin Denali so much. We are about 2 years a part but are remarkable similar. I love hanging out with her and can just completely be myself around her. She is so pretty and is always surrounded by a group of guys :) I'm not sure what she'll do next year without me to scare the guys off! She has a beautiful singing voice and is the best story teller ever. Everything she says is just hilarious!

My #13 is not one person but rather a group of people, but I like them all so much I thought I'd group them together. The boys basketball team at our school is fantastic. Every year I look forward to their season and watching them play. Tonight they had a pretty sad loss but I know they'll learn from it and move on to win region!! They are so talented and fun to watch (not just because they're good, which they are, but also because they are just so attractive). They are all great guys on and off the court. It really impresses me what good sportmenship they have. They are just all around nice guys. They are friendly and don't act too cool or above everyone else even though they could.

#11 and 12
Alright so I failed for a second time at this 30 day challenge. It looks like I'm more of a blog-every-other-day sort of person than an everyday blogger. Actually, if I'm going to be honest, I'm more of a once-a-week-or-so-blogger. So this 30 day challenge is kinda a stretch for me here. Anyway, I do have some pretty incredible people to talk about today.
My number 11 is going to have to be my older sister Katherine. If I could pick three words to describe her they would be quirky, brilliant, and self-assured. She's completely herself and doesn't change for anyone. She's determined (sometimes that means stubborn), outspoken, and confident. I love how she is self taught in so many subjects: sewing, Japanese, and German. She's a whiz on the DDR (dance dance revolution), and can cook like Martha Stewart, with an added flair. I love her more than words :)
And my little brother Thomas is my #12. I dont know where to start with him. Tommy is not only the youngest in our family but also the only boy! He's going to make the best husband one day now since he's got 4 personal trainers on what girls want. He's definitely one of kind and I love him for it! I tease him a lot and have taken on the roll of his "older brother" and try to toughen him up. I used to be pretty successful but then this past year he decided to shoot right up and is now a good 5 inches taller!! Now were a pretty even match, but don't let him know I said that. He's talented musically and is even Mr. Mayor in the junior high's upcoming play, Suessical the Musical. And don't get me started on what a ladies man he is. Seriously, flocks of girls surround him wherever he goes. I can't take him anywhere without hearing a high pitch squeal of "Thomas!!!" and turn around to see a herd of girls running in his direction! I love my little brother!
I feel like this picture really describes our relationship!

# 9 and 10
oops...missed a day. That means we get #9 and #10 today. Since I've got some spare time (no homework yay!!!), I'm dedicating this post to two people who I've got a lot to say about.
First off is Jessica. We've been friends for as long as I can remember. We do everything together and without her I would be lost. She is amazing and practically perfect. She's ridiculously gorgeous, smart, super spiritual and righteous, musical, and fun to be with. I love that we have the same taste in music, clothes, books, and movies. Luckily, although we respect each others choices, we don't have the same taste in guys so there's never any drama there!
My favorite memory with Jessica is when we went to Washington D.C. two summers ago on a student tour. Normally I would be really nervous since I didn't know anyone else, but with Jessica I was completely at ease. We ended up making some pretty great friends and had the time of our lives.
I know I can tell Jessica anything and she'll never judge me. She listens to me vent and cries with me when we get super stressed over AP tests or college. I love that I'm not even scared we won't be friends after high school. Although I am nervous to go college without her. I guess I just kind of assumed we would be at college together and even that we'd live by each other when we got married. When I realized I was going to BYU and she's going up to USU, it took a minute to sink in. It weird to me that we won't see each other everyday and that we'll have completely different friends. Thank goodness for a mutual home ward and skype!!!
Up second we have LISA!!! She is the definition of perfection! Honestly, this girl is involved in everything. I'm not sure how she balances all she does but I admire her for it. She is enthusiastic about life and it rubs off on those around her. Everyone want to be her friend and be around her. I love how we talk and laugh about everything but mostly about nothing. I love our sleepovers where we stay up really late and I love the ones where we actually sleep. Her cooking should be featured on the food network and her handwriting should be a font. She's hardworking, determined, and thoughtful.
This last semester we had five classes together and advisory and I saw her all the time. It was fun to have her with me all the time to share inside jokes and laugh at Mr. Curtis' joke attempts. Lately I feel like I've been having Lisa withdrawals now that we only have one class.
Lisa is someone who will accomplish big things in life. Whatever she sets her mind to she can do. I wouldn't be surprised if she cured cancer or ended world hunger. She's a great example to me and I'm glad we're friends.
I'm so thankful for my wonderful best friends. I know I couldn't have done better than these two! I love them so much and I'm so thankful for everything they've done for me!

I really miss volleyball, a lot. I miss practice, I miss the games, I miss diving on the floor and getting floor burns, bruises, and battle scars, I miss the rush of winning, I even miss the conditioning. But what I think I miss the most is being on a team. There is just a sense of unity and friendship that comes with being on a team. We always had so much fun together no matter what we were doing. During summer camps, weekend tournaments, and long bus rides we created so many fun memories and inside jokes that I'll never forget. Each of the girls
on the team, Coach Herrick and Burton included, have impacted or influenced my life in some way. I love all these girls and I'm so jealous of all the juniors and sophomores who get to play again next year together!! They'll have so much fun and they have some pretty great talent too. I wouldn't be surprised if they took state next year. And guess who'll be in the front row cheering them on?? Their number one fan, Special M!!

#7 and some new swimwear
Andy :) I love this guy! He's a great friend and shares my deep love of Avatar (the last Airbender, not the blue one). He's the one I call when I want to have a great outdoor adventure. We've done it all from hiking up to Adam's Canyon and Elephant Rock to exploring water canals and caves. He's always up for a good night of board games or an outdoor fire and scary stories. Junior year I went to the Homecoming Dance and it was one of the best dances ever!! He doesn't worry about what other's may think of him and is always 100% his goofy self!
Today I got this super cute swimsuit for the CRUISE!!! I'm so excited :)

#6 Jadey Baby
She may only be two but this darling girl is so fun to be with. Tonight we made a fort and played inside with her toys and read stories. I find it incredibly relaxing and refreshing to be with her. She's so sweet and constantly surprises me with little kisses and hugs. She makes me feel important when its time for me to go and she gets this adorable little pouty look on her face and waves her tiny hand and tells me to stay.
This is a picture of Jade and her Auntie Nali :) I just thought it was super cute!

Without this guy, there is no way I would have survived Calculus last year. I mean not only as in passing the A.P. test(he's a genius), but also I probably would have died with boredom(he's super funny and keeps up a good conversation). Trevor is the smartest person I know and the best part is he's incredibly humble about it. He's fun to be around and it's easy to just be myself.

#4 Cally
She is amazing. Thats the only way to describe her. I love her sense of fashion and her cute house. She has been in young womens with me numerous times, and the day she was released I bawled... right in the middle of sacrament meeting. Luckily a couple years later she was put back in as our Camp Director, just in time for my last year of camp. I don't know if she realizes it, but she is a role model for me and a great example. She really understands the young women and fits right in with us. We have some great memories with her like glow in the dark tag (vampire style), ride that pony, and staying up late at the last night of camp giving Jessica and I some great advice :)
This is us(Cally on the left) at girls camp lookin our best....don't judge :)

#3 My Twin!!
When I started playing volleyball at BHS my sophomore year, I met Laura. We hit it off immediately and soon became close friends. Not only did we have similar interests and personalities, many people also thought we looked alike. People were constantly getting us mixed up and calling us the wrong names so we started calling ourselves twins!
Laura is so fun to be around. She's the girl I call when I want to just relax, have fun, and maybe go a little crazy. Whether its playing Curses, making cookies, or having a dance party we always have fun. She's kind to everyone and knows how to cheer you up.
Her birthday is coming up in next month and her mom had the great idea of making a "friendship quilt". Each of Laura's friends were given a material square and asked to decorate it for Laura, then her mom is going to sew them all together in a quilt for her birthday. Cute idea right? Anyway, I'm not the most creative or crafty person but I had fun with this. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out and can't wait to see the completed quilt! She's going to love it!!
